People living with rheumatism or arthritis often have difficulty getting around on standard crutches. This is often due to reduced strength in the hand and arm. Therefore, Rebotec have devised a unique design to make getting around so much easier for people with these specific mobility issues. The design of the forearm cuff and handle sees them incorporated together in the one unit, enabling body weight to be more evenly distributed over the forearm. The cuff and handle are more like a platform to support body weight. There is even a wide Velcro fastener forearm support for added stability.
Another important benefit of the design is that it prevents blisters from forming on the palms after prolonged use and these crutches are also kinder to the tendons in the wrist. Whether the individual requires the crutches for short term or long term use, they’ll be able to get around in comfort with the Yano crutches.
To further increase comfort and ease of use, there are 10 height adjustments (between 92cm to 114cm) that can be made for the perfect fit. Even the forearm and handle inclination can be adjusted for ultimate comfort. The handles also rotate for increased control and mobility.
Each crutch leg is fitted with a non-slip rubber ferrule for a stable footing with every step taken, giving individuals increased confidence when moving about.
German design and engineering ensure a robust set of crutches that can support body weights of up to 150kg.
