As you would expect from any product designed and manufactured in Germany, the Rebotec Lyon Commode Chair is all about quality and precision engineering. It’s a robust commode chair that has a maximum weight capacity of 130kg, yet the chair itself only weighs 5kg.

Made from white plastic and silver aluminium, the chair itself is sleek and attractive in its design and doesn’t really look like a medical or mobility device. It simply looks like a piece of furniture that has some very handy uses.

The design is ergonomic for ease of use and total comfort and the 4 aluminium legs are height adjustable for the perfect fit in all scenarios.. You can even shorten the front legs so the chair rests on a slight angle, making it easier for elderly folk to sit down and get up off the chair. In fact, there is a total of 7 height adjustments, so people of all heights can use this commode chair.

The Rebotec Lyon Height Adjustable Commode Chair is suitable for use in the shower as a safe and sturdy place for the patient to rest while bathing. With a pail beneath the seat, the chair can be used as an overnight toilet when placed beside the bed. Alternatively, the seat is removable, so the chair can be positioned above a toilet bowl.

The rubber feet on the bottom of the legs prevent slippage, even on wet and smooth tiles and the armrests for added comfort can be easily removed if required. With telescopic legs, the chair can readily be compacted for easy moving and transporting from location to location.

Even in a small shower cubicle, this commode chair doesn’t take up a lot of space, with a footprint measuring just 51cm x 59cm.
