$59.99 incl. gst

This handy and totally portable device measures your blood oxygen level, pulse strength and pulse rate. You can view the current status at a glance on the easy-to-read OLED display.

SKU: 200201
Availability: In Stock

There is no need to perform any sort of blood test to measure the current levels of oxygen in the blood when a patient uses the pulse oximeter and blood oxygen monitor. The oxygen levels in the blood are readily viewed on the OLED readout for quick and easy reference. Not only does the oximeter check blood oxygen levels but it also provides an instant (and ongoing) reading of an individual’s pulse rate and pulse strength.

This device is small, battery powered and completely portable, so it can be taken anywhere and used whenever necessary. No tests of any kind need to be carried out. The monitor detects oxygen blood levels and pulse rate by simply being attached to the index finger of the patient. Along with numerical readouts on the screen, there is also a handy graph for a visual representation of the current status.

Features

Let’s now look at the key features of this handy device.

Easy-To-Read OLED Display – Whether checking oxygen levels in the blood , pulse rate or both, you’ll get a clear readout on the large OLED display situated on top of the pulse oximeter. The device detects hand movements, so the patient can view the readout easily in either portrait or landscape mode, no matter the orientation of their arm.

Plethysmograph – The plethysmograph offers a visual representation of the current heartbeat or pulse rate. If a consistent waveform is depicted, this means blood flow is good.

Display Is Multi-Directional – With the in-built capacity to provide 6 different display layouts, it makes reading the results super easy from any direction. Whether you’re viewing the results or a carer or nurse is viewing them, simply switch display modes for total convenience.

Perfusion Index – This display offers a numerical representation of the current pulse strength (not to be confused with pulse rate). The higher the number, the stronger the pulse strength.

Portable With Low Power Consumption – This device is portable and operates on 2 AAA batteries that will last for some time due to the device’s low power consumption. Your pulse oximeter switches off automatically when not in use and, depending on battery quality, will deliver up to 20 continuous hours of use.

Other key features include:

  • Adjustable screen brightness
  • Pulse waveform display
  • SpO2 value display

Benefits Of the Pulse Oximeter

Portability is one of the key benefits of the pulse oximeter, as it can be used anywhere and taken anywhere when required. You can even take it travelling with you.

With the large and easy-to-read digital display, even a person with poor eyesight can readily read the results.

There’s no need to go for a blood test to discover current blood oxygen levels, as the pulse oximeter does this without the need for any invasive testing.

The device can easily be used by patients, doctors, nurses, carers or family members. Key data can be monitored at any time.
